Remits
Financial members of NZART will vote on remits for taking forward to the NZART Conference over King’s Birthday weekend. Two of the remits have been put forward by Council The first coveres constitutional changes to AREC and the second introduces a new category of branch member (associate members) who will be able to continue to participate in branch activities, but will not be voting members. The third remit is a branch remit (from a branch unknown) that is likely to be more controversial. See pages 41 and 42 of the March/April Break In for remit details, and Mike’s editorial above for more information.
Topic
The topic for the May Branch Meeting is QRP-Labs kitsets. Daniel ZL2DTL will talk about the history of QRP-Labs, the range of kitsets available and the features of these kits. Daniel will go into more detail on the QMX and QMX+ rigs that are proving very popular at present with constructors.
We will be serving tea, coffee and biscuits at the end of the meeting. All are welcome!
