ANZAC Day Activation at Wright’s Hill Fortress

Pete Ritchie ZL2SLD is organising the activation of a station at Wright’s Hill on ANZAC Day (25 April) on behalf of Branch 50 NZART. The club is in the process of registering the special callsign ZL6ANZAC to attract interest in our field station.

Others, not so interested in operating, may care to visit the Fortress to see the team in action and also visit the Fortress Radio Room where George ZL2AG, Bernard ZL2BD, and Stephen ZL1SS will be based. Hours for the Fortress special event are 10am to 4pm.
