This is an opportunity to build either one or both of our VHF/UHF antenna kits with help from other club members in putting these antennas together. The Flowerpot Antenna is a dualband (2m/70cm) antenna build inside electrical conduit. It comes with a section of 50 ohm coax terminated in a BNC plug.
The Tape Measure beam is made from conduit and sections of a metal tape measure and works on both VHF and UHF. It also comes with a section of coax terminated in a BNC connector. This beam is ideally suited for portable operations or fox hunts and easily fits in the car boot or back seat as the elements can be folded up.
Antennas cost $25 each.
Payment on the day, either by electronic funds transfer to the club bank account, or in cash.
