Activities

This event will provide new and old members with an interest in emergency communications the required introduction to passing emergency traffic for AREC or Civil Defence events.   There is no requirement to sign up with AREC, but this will be encourage for those interested in learning more.

This is a special Monster Shed Workshop for any amateur (or prospective amateur operator) to build their own Flowerpot Antenna (see https://vk2zoi.com/articles/dual-band-half-wave-flower-pot/).   Pre-registration with Mike ZL1AXG is required.  Cost of the materials should be available by the end of May, with payment into the Club's trading a/c or cash on the day.
