15 July Special General Meeting – The 49:1 End Fed Wire antenna

All are welcome to our regular meeting.

We will be having one of our member’s (Eben ZL2EF) give a presentation on the 49:1 impedance transformers for what is known as the End Fed Half Wave Antenna (EFHW).   Eben has been doing some work on improving (and measuring) efficiency, and seen some promising improvements.    

This meeting also represents a Special General Meeeting to consider changes to our branch rules.  The Committee proposes minor changes to the rules to bring our rules into line with changes made to the NZART Constitution at the NZART AGM on King’s Birthday Weekend in Lower Hutt.

The evening will conclude with tea, coffee and biscuits.
