This workshop will discuss several options for remote controlling a transceiver. For transceivers with a network port, this is relatively straight forward. For transceivers with a USB port, a server is required to forward CAT commands and audio in both directions. For a transceiver with a serial port and analogue audio connections a further interface is required, but almost all transceivers can be operated remotely.
Mike ZL1AXG will discuss the technology required to operate remotely and demonstrate some of the options.
