Branch 50 (Wellington) NZART – Known as the Wellington Amateur Radio Club
Branch members will be assisting with this AREC supported event. Contact John ZL2XJ if you want to participate. A total of 33 operators required. These will be drawn from various branches of NZART.
John ZL2XJ who is our Amateur Radio Emergency Corps leader will discuss amateur radio operator involvement in emergency communications. This meeting will be of particular interest to new members, but is open to all. Supper will be available at the end of the meeting
Are you interested in finding out about DMR digital communications on VHF/UHF and the world of hotspots where you can join other DMR networks and repeaters around the world to make contacts globally? Zane ZL1CZ will lead a discussion on these topics. All are welcome. Tea and coffee will be provided after the meeting.
